HACHI Physiotherapy offers the highest quality and evidence based care for both humans and hounds. HACHI is named after Hachikō, a global symbol of canine loyalty which lies within the core of our values. We are based in Leeds, Yorkshire and provide a mobile service across North, East and West Yorkshire.
In creating a fusion of my Physiotherapy skills alongside my passion for improving canine welfare I am invested in influencing a change within the Veterinary world that will ultimately benefit our pets and allow access for all to gold standard canine healthcare. I have a background in managing complex trauma, orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injuries within elite sport, NHS and private sector healthcare. I now continue my human practice as an academic lecturing Sport Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy undergraduates at both Hull and Huddersfield Universities (https://pure.hud.ac.uk/en/persons/holly-platten). My wealth of experience means I offer up-to-date hands on and exercise based therapies in order to manage pain, optimise function and restore movement efficiently in both human and canine clients.
I am qualified, insured and registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy and Health Care Professions Council. I hold full Professional Liability Insurance for both Human and Veterinary practice.
